company develops, produces and sells ultra-high-speed turbo compressors with gas bearings and matching
inverters. The products are used worldwide in fuel cells, heat pumps and process technology
among other applications.
Job description
Your tasks:
- Ensuring the trouble-free operation of the entire internal IT infrastructure
- Administration of servers, clients and peripheral devices (Windows, partly Linux)
- Support and further development of the network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, WLAN, firewall)
- Administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange and other central applications
- Implementation and monitoring of IT security, backup and recovery concepts
- Planning, implementation and documentation of IT projects
- Collaboration and management of external IT service providers
- Technical support (3rd-Level) for internal users
- Technical management of support staff (1st/2nd Level)
- Collaboration in strategic IT development including budget planning
Your profile:
- Completed training as a Computer Scientist EFZ, ideally with further training (e.g. HF, FH)
- At least 5 years of professional experience as an IT system administrator or IT system engineer, preferably in an SME environment
- Sound knowledge of Windows servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) as well as network and security solutions
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD and modern cloud services
- Good understanding of IT security standards and data protection regulations
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
- High sense of responsibility, initiative and strong communication skills
- Very good German and good English skills
